The rain washed out the planned BBQ on the patio for our monthly Sunday Social last weekend, but everyone happily made do with a buffet dinner in the restaurant/bar instead!
Despite the rainy weather, over 40 people came out to Hampton’s to meet and mingle with friends. We were delighted to welcome many new and prospective members to the afternoon as well.
It’s sometimes hard to come out to a new environment and meet people for the first time, especially following the loss of a spouse. Widowed Friends really understands; we’ve all been there and had our moments of indecision about whether we should come or stay home!
